My Story

I specialize in piano tuning maintenance and repair as well as install and do maintenance on Dampp chaser systems for the very musical community of PEI. My clientele includes the Confederation center, Harbourfront theater, Long and McQuade as well as music teachers, private homes, schools churches, many more venues across PEI.

My training was a 2 year hands on course at George Brown College in Toronto where we rebuilt both grand and upright pianos as well as classroom teaching on the how and why of piano workings and of course there was a strong emphasis on supervised tuning by masters in the field.

Prior to training for piano tuning I trained at Mohawk college for 3 years in music performance with a major in trumpet and a minor in bass guitar. I also apprenticed at Middleton sculptures  in the woodworking industry for 7 years making about 85 different forms of animals, people and other products. The love for both music and woodworking led me to my decision to train as a Piano tuner technician as they are very fundamental to the work that I do on pianos.
